Hello everybirdie! I'm Tanager! A fine artist, illustrator, card game designer, and master of handstands! I mostly draw cute things, but I also have a dark side I use to write edgy sci-fi for young adults. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor of arts in 2009. I studied hypermedia for four years, but I still don't know what it means. I love cats and old cars and my loyal writing critique group. I'm sometimes mistaken for Merida, but I'm always INFP.

I always was a daddy's girl! My dad passed away when I was 14, but he remains the biggest impact on my creative life! He used to love spending the weekends drawing with me. He claimed he was no good at art, but he taught me that that isn't the point. The point is to enjoy it. :-)
